“Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, 4 and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, 5 and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.” Romans 5:1-5

Grace...Hope...
Indian food with friends...(인도 음식)
We had a dinner with our church friends last week at the Gazebo Indian Restaurant. They are newly married Indian couple (they are second generation immigrant Indians, both born in Dubai). They are mid 20's and such great couple! we had a great food, wonderful conversations, and lots of laugh! To me, highlight of the night was before we left the restaurant, they asked us how they could pray for us..
Oh..how I missed this kind of fellowship with believer. Even though we are blessed with a great gospel preaching church, it has been really hard to make good friends..not to mention, 50 some different nationalities in our church...
We also recently joined the church as a member..so we are looking forward to meeting some more friends and continuing the fellowship and serving.
This is THE Indian rice - Biryani (cooked with saffron/indian spices)...yummy!
This is indian bread called 'Nan' (looks like pizza but no cheese)
we had couple different flavored ones -mint, and garlic..
we ate with chicken and goat meat dip(forgot the name) it was so delicious!

Beach Camping, Oman 오만의 해변으로 캠핑
We went overnight camping to Dibba, Oman about 2 and a half hours north from
where we live in Dubai.
Dibba Beach is part of UAE, and part of Oman border, all we have to do was to show our Emirates ID
or passport to the guards at the Oman border check point (No visa needed).
Beach is surrounded by rocky mountains and it was just amazingly beautiful! We had a great time!
:: Even though temperature was high, it was windy day and water was still cold!
:: We saw a small sea turtle! it was so cute! (바다거북이)
:: Herd of mountain goats climbing through the rocky mountains...
:: The Moon was so bright! probably was a full Moon...

:: It was windy and waves were also very loud (Tide came in right next to our tent)..
Next morning, we hiked the rocky mountains behind..
Actually, that's all the boys wanted to do since we got there!
:: it looks like we rented whole beach to ourselves!
:: These rocks must have high iron contents...
when we rolled the rocks, it made a very high pitch metal sound.
Beautiful!
:: View of Oman
the boys did really well without complaining..what troopers they are!
There were goats roaming around all over the street..some came over when we stopped the car..
So, camping is checked off our bucket/to do list in UAE...we all love this kind of adventures!
