James will be leaving to UAE sometime in late August, we won't be in UAE until November. I'll stay in Korea with the boys until late October then fly back to the States before we all head to Abu Dhabi, UAE.
As soon as James leaves, we'll lose military post access, the boys cannot attend the school on post and we will be staying in Korea for the couple months for the school year, we decided to homeschool the boys for the first year in UAE in conjunction with time in Korea . We have found the great online programs K-12 international Academy-are eligible for a U.S. accredited diploma. Also, there is a Student help center in Dubai which will be very helpful. There are couple of nice American schools in Abu Dhabi, so we will be able to send them later on.
Also we thought that it will benefit the boys in this transition to a different country/culture.
I know it will be challenge for all of us but we will work it out! if I can handle two highly energetic students lol while we are in Korea lol by myself!. Caleb and Ben both had a placement test and they did great! We are hopeful!
