We went to see the fireworks in the Festival City Centre Mall near the historic Dubai Creek. There is fireworks on every Thursday and Friday in the whole month of December until Christmas and the New Years eve.
Anyway, Festival City Centre is like San Antonio River walk and we had a great time watching fireworks and riding a river boat.
It is just nice to be able to celebrate Christmas in public (Christmas trees in every mall, Christmas carol playing in the stores) in Muslim country even though it is just for the tourist or whatever reason.
