Life in Dubai continued...Grocery stores

There is a nice grocery store within 5 minutes from our house called 'Spinney's' and it has been very nice and convenient to have it so close!  

There is also one grocery store in the Arabian Ranches center(there are also some restaurants-including Pizza hut, Burger King!/ some shops), it is small, but I can get some stuffs that Spinney's don't have.  One thing James really likes there is that they squeeze fresh orange juice in front of you!

There is a bakery in any grocery store and they bake variety of fresh bread everyday and I can pick any bread, and they will slice it for me!  ummm...fresh baked bread smells so good!

Also there are Carrefour(France) and Waitrose (British Grocery store) -they are like a super Walmart, and also there are so many hyper markets (UAE calls them).

Speaking of food, one day we were talking about what we eat everyday is from all over the world.

For example, we drink a bottle water from Italy (in the restaurant, we have to buy water), Orange Juice and butter from New Zealand, milk from UAE, Fruits from South Africa, cereals from Australia, England, USA, fruits from many different countries...of course, we can get pretty much everything imported from the States as well.  It is just amazing.

Grocery stores here in UAE are overall very clean, have variety of product to choose from, and what we like the most is that we can get fresh seasonal fruits pretty much around a year from all over the world.
